Bookkeep or A2X?
Both post summarized entries; Bookkeep supports more channels (including Stripe, Walmart and POS systems), publishes per-entity pricing from $19 a month and has an Amazon deferred-transaction entry. Ottit standardized on Bookkeep in 2026.
Which Bookkeep plan do I need?
Most $1M–$10M brands with two to four channels fit Growth ($99/mo) or Pro ($199/mo, which adds managed COGS and Shopify payout splitting). Ottit recommends the plan during onboarding; you pay Bookkeep directly.
Does Bookkeep replace a bookkeeper?
No. It replaces manual data entry. Mapping, tax-rate maintenance, reconciliation, inventory and month-end judgment are still human work, which is what Ottit does.
Can Bookkeep backfill prior months?
Yes, historical entries are billed at $0.35 each, which is how Ottit rebuilds a year of payout detail during a clean-up.
