Questions
Xero or QuickBooks Online for ecommerce?
Both work with Bookkeep. QBO has a larger US app ecosystem and native inventory on Plus; Xero is cheaper, cleaner for multi-currency and popular with brands from outside the US. Ottit runs both and will recommend based on your stack.
Does Xero track inventory?
Basic inventory is built in; Inventory Plus is an optional add-on. Most Ottit clients keep inventory in Shopify, Cin7 or Amazon reports and let Ottit reconcile it monthly.
Is Ottit a Xero partner?
Yes, alongside Intuit ProAdvisor, Shopify, Gusto, Ramp and Wayflyer partnerships.
Will Xero's price change affect me?
Xero's US pricing page states subscription prices rise from 1 October 2026; you pay Xero directly, so check your plan's new rate.
