How the data flows
One day in the ledger
What a single entry looks like in your ledger once Ottit has mapped it. One line per component, so margin by channel and the balance sheet fall out of the books instead of a spreadsheet.

Questions
Which Gusto plan should an ecommerce brand pick?
Simple if everyone is in one state; Plus once you hire in a second state or want time tracking; Premium if you want a dedicated advisor and HR support. Ottit's partner status does not change your price.
Does Gusto post to QuickBooks automatically?
Yes, once mapped. The mapping is where most payroll bookkeeping goes wrong, and it is what Ottit maintains.
How are contractors handled?
Gusto bills contractors only in months they are paid and files 1099-NECs; Ottit reconciles contractor spend so the 1099 totals match the ledger.
What about payroll for a founder's S corp?
Gusto's Solo plan covers it; Ottit books the reasonable-compensation payroll and distributions correctly.
